Grammy Award winner Ledisi is officially climbing aboard the WANTED train to Broadway, joining the cast as Tallulah Clarke!
“I am beyond thrilled to join the cast of WANTED —my first Broadway principal role, and I still can’t believe it” Ledisi says. “I keep thinking about the journey, God’s timing, and the importance of legacy. WANTED 2025: OUR YEAR IN REVIEW
WANTED has been 11 years in the making, and 2025 ain’t been no different. We, the Kinfolk, ain’t lettin’ up, not now, not never. Here are some highlights from our 2025 journey to Broadway, plus some never-before-seen photos from composer Ross Baum.
MAY
We stepped into a new chapter with a new name, WANTED (formerly Gun & Powder), and dropped the big news: We’re comin’ to Broadway in 2026!
June
Our first single, “Gun & Powder,” from WANTED: The Studio EP hit the streets.
Then we packed out New 42 Studios with an amazing WANTED Musical Workshop presentation. The streets are still talkin’ ‘bout it, reminisce with us here.
JULY
We gave out the key to The Vault and shared the very first exclusive-access issue to all things WANTED.
July/August
Our creatives and cast took the momentum to Martha’s Vineyard, sharing WANTED at Vineyard Arts Project with the local community.
August
The full WANTED: The Studio EP dropped and, baby, it’s been playin’ on repeat.
October
Our powerhouse playwright, Angelica Chéri, was named one of Variety’s 10 Broadway Stars to Watch in 2025 — a living legend! We wrapped the month back in Texas, where creatives and cast shared the show with the community in Dallas at the Shef Food & Wine Festival and Broadway Dallas Brunch.
2026 ALL ABOARD!
2026 is our year, y’all! Go on and get your Stetson and boots ready, ’cause we’re headin’ to Broadway and we’re takin’ you right on with us. All aboard! Keep up now, ’cause this train sure ain’t slowin’ down!

This June, the cast took over New 42 Studios for 19 jam-packed days of diving into fresh script pages, belting brand-new bangers, locking in fierce choreography, and bringing the creative vision to life.
Sheer magic was happening in the room, led by director and “story doula” Stevie Walker-Webb.
